Macmillan Free Will Service
Macmillan Cancer Support and BRM Solicitors have again teamed-up to offer an exclusive free will writing service during September and October 2016.
Over the two month promotional period, we will not charge you any fees to write a simple will.
In return, all that we ask is that clients make a voluntary donation to the Chesterfield Royal Macmillan Cancer Centre. The suggested minimum donations are just £54 for a single will, and £108 for a double will.
The amount were chosen as £54 is the equivalent to the funding for two hours of Macmillan nursing. The more donations our clients generate, the more Macmillan care
we can help provide to local cancer patients.
BRM and Macmillan ran the scheme in 2015 with enormous success, raising almost £10,000 for the appeal, and we are aiming to beat the total this year.
Rob Woodhead, Head of Wills and Probate at BRM Solicitors says:
“BRM Solicitors is very proud to volunteer our legal expertise to help such a worthwhile cause. The money raised from this free will-writing initiative will help Macmillan to provide vital support services to people affected by cancer.”
Macmillan is trying to raise £2.5 million to build the new state-of-the-art Cancer Centre. This exciting new development will mean that people with cancer in North and North East Derbyshire will be able to receive their vital treatment, care and support in one purpose-built facility – providing joined up services closer to home.
Demand for the free will writing service is expected to be very high, so booking an appointment early is recommended.
