On 01 October 2012, the UK national minimum wage will increase for apprentices and workers over the age of 21.
The minimum wage for those aged 21 and over will increase from £6.08 to £6.19.
Apprentices’ minimum wage will be £2.65, up from £2.60.
There will be no increase for workers aged between 16 and 20.
