BRM Charity Ball Raises Over £6,400 for BHF
On Friday 19 October 2012 at CASA Hotel in Chesterfield, 180 guests were wined, dined and treated to some amazing entertainment at our Gala Charity Ball in aid of the British Heart Foundation, who we have supported throughout 2012.
Individuals and local and national businesses donated a range of superb prizes which were auctioned or raffled on the night to raise money for the charity. The event was a very enjoyable and unique experience for our guests and by the end of the evening, over £6,400 had been raised for the British Heart Foundation.
BRM partner Peter McGowan commented:
“The outstanding efforts of BRM’s staff, as well as friends of the firm, to do something special for this worthy cause was matched by the generosity of clients and associates in supporting the event. Our former Managing Partner, Mike MacDonald sadly died in 2009 after battling heart disease for many years.
The efforts of everyone involved reflect not only the importance of this charity but also the highest regard we have for Mike’s memory.”
When added to the money already collected throughout the year, the Ball took the total sum raised by BRM in excess of £16,000.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the Ball for helping make the event a success and our thanks also go to the following individuals and organisations who kindly donated prizes for our auction and raffle:
